“Still Can't Believe I Did It... - Pittsburgh, PA”
Spent: $18,000 in Pittsburgh, PA
Posted 19 Nov 2011
I was never overweight until I had children. Afterwards, I had a hard time taking the weight off & keeping it off. Finally, about 10 years ago I lost 80 pounds, and felt much more healthy. I looked pretty good--with my clothes on! I was still very uncomfortable with my stomach, and my breasts had never been perky, let alone after nursing 3 children.
I thought about plastic surgery for years, but couldn't imagine actually doing it. I didn't imagine I was brave enough, and spending that kind of money on myself was not even a consideration. But, my husband knew how much I wanted it, and encouraged me to at last make an appt. That was the hardest step. Next thing I knew,I was scheduled for a mommy makeover (tummy tuck, breast lift and modest sized implants). That was 6 months ago, and I have to say it's the best thing I have ever done for myself! Now I ask myself why I waited so long.
