Uh oh....hard lump underneath

I can't help but marvel at the results of my de-bulking that I tend to pinch at my stomach area. I swear just this Monday night as I was examining my lower abdomen I felt a hard lump I haven't noticed before. It's immediately underneath my belly button and feels like a hardened mass maybe 3 inches long. What the heck? I'm so worried I've scheduled an appt with my primary care physician. Could be unrelated, but thought is mention it in case others have had the same experience?

3 WEEKS POST...OMG! NO FRIGGIN WAY!

OK, I have no problem admitting that this procedure was a whole lot more painful than I was prepared for. I believed everyone who said the REAL pain only hit a very small population of folks... only to be one of those folks. Had I really known what it would be like, absolutely no way would I have signed up for 1 much less 8 'cycles'. BUT OMG...It actually WORKS! SHOOT! As strange as the pains were for me (the stabbing, stop you dead in your tracks, electrifying sharp neverending pains), I am officially 'debulked'. Wow.

I started to 'think' I saw signs last week (2 weeks post), but I thought...nah...I'm probably just less swollen. Looking in the mirror, I look pretty darn good now. My stomach is a whole lot flatter. And when I put on my jeans! OMG...I have a whole lot less of a muffin top. I used to have so much more spilling over, and now...it's not bad at all. For me, at least. I do not exercise...like at all. My diet consists of 75% sugar and carbs. So, technically, I should've just dieted and exercised. But, I have to say...I wanted quick results (did not know about the pain, as I remind you) to see if it just might motivate me. So, in I went. And, as it turns out, it was probably a really good idea that I got all areas done at once.

I planned to warn everyone about the pain...not worth it! But, OMG...Soooo worth it...to me. Full disclosure...After I experienced the pain, though, I have absolutely cut my sugar. The first week, I lost my appetite...because I was in too much pain to think about food. And, for me, the pain itself was enough to motivate me to eat healthier and lose my weight without going through that much pain ever again. No thanks, I'll diet and exercise (I have yet to exercise). But, I had no idea the results would be this dramatic just 3 weeks after. Maybe it's because I had so many areas done at once, my results are what they are. And, the fact that I did cut my sugar. I just wasnt' going to go through all that pain just to get no results. So, I figured I'd do my part, too. Then, I could say how ridiculous and painful this procedure was for sure. But, now I can't. Painful...heck ya! Does it work? For me...better than expected. Is it worth it? Now that my mind is forgetting about the 72 hrs of non-stop excruciating pain, and the fact that I had 8 cycles done so shouldn't need to go back. Yep!

Update Day 7

My worst days were days 4-6. I had sleepless nights due to constant excruciating sharp prickly pains all night long. Last night I slept but woke up to a really really sore sensation in my lower right abdomen. The problem is that the pains whether strong soreness or rapid fire sharp pains due travel. So it's hard to answer where it hurts...all over but different each few seconds. It is really difficult to know what one is talking about until you actually go through it yourself. I broke down and took oxycodone and Acetaminophen (forget the prescription name but I have a few left over) which made me super nauseas all day long, I used the patches which did seem to help a bit, bit I would need to wear like 4 at a time and 24/7 which you can't do. I'd say I'm feeling better as I write this. I feel the sharp pains but they are spaced out maybe 30 seconds apart and sometimes I don't feel any. Weird, but feel more when I drink coffee or eat. For the first time I did notice my skin is no longer hot to the touch. My bruises are going away. I'm still swollen but not as much. I can't wear anything with a waist band either.
