congrats berlyboo. i just got a reduction also on aug. 7th and was so excited. they took 400 mg which is almost a pound. was a dd and now not sure but probably about a c. so happy to get it done and notice the difference. in a few months the girls will look good and swelling should be gone. i wasn't as bruised as i thought i would be. so far they look good. thought i would be a little smaller also but they will be after swelling goes down. sooo worth it. not in much pain either. going back to work on the 22nd. work banquets so won't be lifting more than 10lbs. also love the sports medical bra we have to wear. remember drinks lots and lots of water to stay hydrated and will help with swelling. congrats again. sooo happy

TO ADORE

SO HAPPY FOR YOU. DON'T EXPECT THE GIRLS TO LOOK GOOD RIGHT NOW. IT'S GOING TO TAKE A WHILE. BEEN A MONTH FOR ME AND THEY ARE STILL A LITTLE SWOLLEN. TAKES A GOOD TWO OR MORE MONTHS BEFORE ITS ALL COMPLETELY DONE. I HAD ALOT OF GAS ALSO. ITS FROM THE ANTISTESHIA. MY STOMACH WAS SO BIG FOR A GOOD WEEK. I LOOK REALLY PREGNANT, BUT AFTER A WEEK IT WAS FINE. DRINK DIET GINGER ALE AND TUMS HELPED ALSO. GLAD U ARE DOING OKAY. BET UR GLAD ITS OVER. ITS ALL DOWN HILL FROM HERE ON OUT. U SAID HE TOOK 400 OUT ON EACH SIDE? BET U FEEL ALOT SMALLER. U WILL PROBABLY BE A C OR D. THEY WILL CONTINUE TO GET SMALLER AS THE SWELLING DOES DOWN AS THE WEEKS PASS. KEEP HEALING AND RESTING AND KEEP US INFORMED WHEN U CAN.
IS ANYONE ELSE GETTING THEIRS DONE SOON. LET ME KNOW IF I CAN BE OF ANY HELP.

congrats on getting it done. u will not regret it and will be so happy. i got it done in august and feel great and look thinner. went from 38dd to a c cup. it takes a good six months for all the swelling to go down and look back to normal and then can wear regular bras. as far a sleeping sitting up, ur at a 30 degree angle. not bad at all. no problem sleeping especially with pain pills. u'll do fine, in promise. it will go by sooo fast. keep us updated. also do ur research. look up top 10 plastic surgeons on the internet. make sure they take ur ins. and make sure the hospital excepts ur ins. and that it is inside the network. u don't want any surprises.

I carry most of my weight in my chest also. I wonder how I will look, just can't quite imagine it. A summer cold is a pain. hope you get over that quickly and that you continue to do so well. I have not told too many people what I am doing so it will be interesting to see what reactions I get too. Enjoy the weekend!

thanks margie. going back to work was great. missed everbody and at least five people were saying how much weight i lost. i laughed and told them what i did. it does make ya look thinner considering that is where i carry my weight. not lifting heavy at all and resting right after work considering i caught a nasty chest cold, here in phoenix a cold, imagine that. u will do great and keep us informed

Hope you did ok going back to work yesterday. Rest when you can and watch those weight limits. It won't be long and you will be doing all your "normal" things again.
My turn comes next month..I am excited and hope I do as well as you appear to be doing.
