I actually had two surgeries from Burden. My biggest mistake ever was letting him "revise' his first surgery. I had many consults with other plastic surgeons prior to Dr. Burden and they all said I needed a lift with an implant exchange. Burden said I just needed an implant exchange with new 6,500 silicone implants and that my breast would "perk up" from the new implants without a lift, I was sold. I choose Dr. Burden because he had the least invasive option, wow- was I wrong! After my implant exchange I was so disappointed. They looked almost identical in shape as they did prior to surgery just bigger. I requested to look at my medical charts because I was also not satisfied with the size. We agreed to 500cc and come to find out he only put 450cc. I was more upset with the shape than anything so I went back for a $3,000 mini mastopexy(mini lift)... Immediately when I got home I looked down and checked on "the girls" and noticed that my left nipple was almost black. I almost fainted.. I started googling, made my fiance' look, then I called Dr. burden's office and made an appt to be seen early the next morning. In the morning it was worse and had blisters everywhere. I'll never forget the quote Dr. Burden said, "It's nothing to be alarmed at." He also told me that the blisters mean that there is good circulation. Both my fiance' and I work in the medical field and were shocked with his response. I followed up with him for several weeks/months but he never once offered a refund or revision. I am permanently scarred and my left breast will never look the same. It now looks as if it's had a 2-3rd degree burn. I'm still not happy with the shape or size either after the swelling has gone down.
My nipple fell off. Worst decision of my life.
