Stats : 36yrs, 34-C, 5'4 ; 130lbs; Gym Rat :)

Over the years of training in the gym and eating clean I have lost the fullness of my breast. In my early 20s I actually had a nice full small D. For years I anticipated having children, but sadly due to fertility issues discovered last year we won't be. I have over come the sadness and realized that I want something for myself. Something like "TWINS" ...lol

I went on my quest to find a good doctor but ending up only meeting with 2 and then I was hooked on the 2nd choice. Everyone told me to see as many as possible, but it was hard for me to take time off from work. So after meeting the 2nd PS I knew instantly that I liked him, the office and the staff! It was that gut feeling that made it easy to decide.

During my meet and greet wtih the Dr. we did discuss size. So sounds like I will be venturing to a 450cc. My pre op is March 4th which I'm sure will be way more detailed. I am already starting to get nervous...

Some of my fears are how bad the pain really is? I already have slight anxiety so I'm sure that will come in to play. I worry about the "I can't breath" feeling that I've heard about. I am also worried about my down time. The gym is a huge part of my life. I train with a powerlifter as well as on my own. I realize I have to give this up temporarily to gain great things :) But I do worry and I don't know what I'll do every night at home instead of the gym?

I will post my current pics soon...

Congrats on your decision! I'm 6 weeks post op & I love them! I workout every day- nothing like you at all! I do cardio & light weights! But even that was really hard not doing for a few weeks! I felt like a sloth! But... In the end this is a huge investment in yourself & you have to protect it :) My PS said I could walk as much as I wanted as soon as I could, so thats what I did. It's not the same, but at least I wasn't sitting around all the time! And at first it was really turtle paced, but it gets better the better you feel! As far as pain, I truly didn't think it was that bad. I've had other surgeries that were worse. I took pain meds consistently the first 2 days, it's good to stay on top of it at first. After that I just took them at night to help me sleep a little better. I never had any feeling like a couldn't breathe. I got 400cc HP silicone under muscle. I'm 5' 5" 118 lb. Good luck with everything!

Still weeks away from my surgery, but recently suffered an anxiety attack :( Never had them before, I've always been able to manage my life fairly well. Everyone keeps telling me it's cause your nervous about the surgery. Although I'm a bit scared I don't feel like it's making me like this? Has anyone gone through this? THe anxiety is now bothering me everyday, will my doctor not want to do the surgery?

Now that I know of this "anxiety" everything is bothering me. I'm constantly thinking about all things now. Sometimes you wish a doctor wouldn't tell you things, yet you wanna know. Makes sense? Awwwww I just wish it would go away and I would feel good and ready for this...

It's about time, I got a chance to load my pictures :) 20 days away from Surgery....
I think it's perfectly normal to have some anxiety about making a fairly permanent change to your body. There are so many questions we cant' help but wonder about: Did I select the right PS, how will it feel, how will it impact my lifestyle (even temporarily), how will the "girls" come out and more. Maybe spend a little time reminding yourself why you've chosen to do this, how you imagine you will feel once you've done it, how great you're going to look and what convinced you to place your trust in your PS. It may help to write this down so you can review it when you have doubts or are about to go to sleep. I woke up many times in the middle of the night, and I only had 2 weeks to wait for my BA day! I can't even begin to imagine what it's like to wait any longer! I'd have probably driven myself and my hubby completely bonkers! A funny thing I have to mention.....two nights in a row, I woke up with anxiety and wrestled to get back to sleep. Of course, the next thing I know, my alarm is going off to start a new day. Both mornings (different alarm times), I woke up to the exact same lyric, "Don't you worry, don't you worry child....See Heaven's got a prayer for you." I was sooo blown away, especially the 2nd day in a row! Let's just say I "got" the message and just let go of my worries and looked forward to feeling happy with my results! Now, 2 weeks Post-Op, I'm thrilled to say it was ALL worth it, and the best is still yet to come! I hope that helps alleviate some of your anxiety! Wishing you all the best on your journey! :)

Just got back from my pre-op. Told the Dr. about my axniety and how i was feeling. Like everyone else said, "it's very" normal. Something about him and his staff give me a real sense of relief. I feel safe inside their office setting. Although I the anxiety didn't go away, I just feel like I'm in a much better place.

We opted for 457cc med profile. I hope this is perfect. I don't want to be to big, yet I don't have the regret of not going big enough. He did recommend a areola reduction since the size of mine are larger. I discussed this with my husband and I decided not to do so. Maybe at a later time. Im 17 days away from surgery and I just want to get it done and over with. I cannot wait to post my new pics to share iwth all you lovely ladies...
Hi Sadie! I'm glad everything went well at your pre op & you feel so at ease with your PS & staff! Even if you still have some anxiety. If you're comfortable w him, you'll be in good hands! You should check out NoMoreBoobEnvy's profile, she had hers done about 2 weeks before me. I'm pretty sure she got 457cc also, she looks awesome! It'll go by faster than you think! I can't believe I'm almost 7 weeks post op now :)

The days get quicker and quicker as I approach surgery date! I have excitement and nervous times 100!!! My husband is sick with a bad cough and I'm praying to remain healhty! I've been spraying lysol and taking Emergen C packets. I after this Friday I will be very limited on what I can take.

I'm seeing so many new marvelous looking boobies on you ladies...Looking forward to doing this and being done!! I wanna be on the other side already.
Your going to look great! I was a big C cup pre breastfeeding, saggy B cup after, got 425cc mod+ silicone and ended up with 34DD's. I'm VERY happy with the size, big but they still fit my frame :) Good luck with your surgery!

Droped off my prescriptions yesterday, the anti-nausea medicine is not covered. It will cost me $70 per pill x 2!! Yikes!! The doctor said it's option on whether or not I buy that. Did any of you take "Emend" tablet? Is it necessary?

Now I'm struggling with size....457cc was my original plan, but everyone says go one size bigger?! I'm so afraid of being too big. I tried 400cc and 450cc while in my consulutation and the nurse said you alwasy loose a little once uncer the muscle. I tried the rice tester at home this weekend and it's just so hard to tell....HELP!!! Don't know what to do.
Hey I only took my nausea meds to help me sleep; I wasn't sick at all. That patch I put on before surgery really helped me. With you starting at a c- cup you will be fine handling 497. And remember, the right top can conceal them. Good luck to you! I'm excited for all my boobie buddies!

I got my Zofran @ Costco, it was cheaper. I did not use them. FYI....you don't have to be a member to use Costco pharmacy only. He or she went on the high end of anti-nausea medication. It looks like u have enough to handle 450+. Girl, get your twins. Good luck to you :)

Hi Sadie, I didn't bother to get my prescription filled for the anti nausea meds and I am glad I didn't because I didn't need it. I would just wait to see how you feel and if you need it then get it filled.

Today is day #5, feeling pretty swollen still. The more I do the more they swell. Each day has gotten better and better. I ventured back to work today and they are easy to hide in the bra my doctor gave me. I came off the vicodin after day #2 and have been using Advil instead. I get alot of shooting / burning pains, but if I keep on my meds I don't feel them as much.

I'm glad the surgery is over...phew....but I'm more excited to go buy bras, shirts and dresses!
How are you feeling today? Less pain I hope! Happy healing!

Hey there! Glad you're doing better. Just wondering if your Dr. was ok with you taking Advil. Mine told me to wait 2 weeks post op. But to use Tylenol until then.

Dr. said Advil was ok after surgery :) What was your Dr. reason for not using?

Celebrating 2 weeks of new boobies!! Although it's not much of a celebration yet. Everything is still hard and tight. My right side is very high and uncomfortable most days. Sadly, I don't feel like trying on bras or bathing suits cause they just don't look right or feel right.

However, I am happy with them, I would just like to enjoy them a little more. I want them to be normal!!! Well hopefully since reading some of the other post, 3-4weeks they should really start to be accepted by my body.
Ohh you will have a change of heart soon. It takes time as your emotions are up and down with the whole process. I think that is normal. You'll fall in love soon. : )

A little update staring week 5...

Slowly the twins are dropping. Each morning I wake up feeling great, but over the course of the day my right side gets tight. Is this normal? Its like the muscle just gets annoyed as soon as i start moving around.

I'm still using the sports bra given by my Dr. only once in a while I'll wear just a bralette on weekends to enjoy a nice dinner out with the hubby. I can't WAIT to buy bathing suits!! I alreayd tried on my old ones, and nope! Those don't fit anymore.

Well ladies, here are a few new pics

1yr+2month Boobie Anniversary!!

Its been a full year now. I think for the most part everything is in place and final. I am satisfied with my boobies, however, I wish I went to HP instead of regular moderate. I have alot of side boob. My final size is 34DD and this is big!!! If I had the HP I think I would of been a little more happier.

My left side never got feeling back and has a strange feeling when I touch it. It's very sensitive. My right side is fine, no problems.

My doctor originally told me to do a aerola reduction, wish I would of listened to him. Since mine are so big they often peek through the bra or show in a bathing suit. This I hate. I think eventually I will talk to my dr about reducing them. I am afraid if I do the surgery I wil lose all feeling, any suggestions on that???

If I had enough money, I'd redo the implant to high profile, maybe a smaller one and then do my aerola reduction.....
