5 weeks plus

pain is soo much better, but still there. Swelling ? AHHHHH, when will it end??? Last week I received the go ahead for exercising and eliminating binder/spanx. I have gone without binder for a few weeks now, but the spanx I still wear, especially when I have a lot to do. I am still sore and swelling at night is still an issue. : (
My results?
My belly is flat, for that I am so grateful. I can bend and do not have hanging loose skin , I sooo do NOT miss that. I was not over weight. I was in good shape but with so many stretch marks and lots of loose skin from my babies. I am disappointed that more skin was not removed and that I have a lot of remaining stretch marks below my belly button. I AM enjoying my belly button. After 15 years I have let my husband touch my belly. That is great. I am waiting until until my recovery continues to pass final judgment and satisfaction... after all $ 10,000 is A LoT of money! My scar? As thin as can be! I am using scar cream and I expect that after a few months it will fade nicely. I am anxious to be without spanx and eager to start really exercising. Sooo, we will see. I am hoepful. My doctor and his team continue to be available and supportive at all hours!

Plugging along

Tuesday's Doctor visit went well. I am able to stand completely straight- most of the time. Evenings continue to be harder. Surprisingly the Doctor recommended switching from my compression garmet to Spanx. I am grateful but was surprised as form reading all the journeys here I thought I would be in my garmet longer. He said everything went great and looks really good. I know I am only 1 week post so I am no where near where my final results should be so I am very hopeful that wrinkles and creases and odd bulges all even out. I am VERY swollen, but that is getting better. I can't fit into anything but big loose dresses. I have a meeting next Monday- I can't imagine what I am going to wear! I remain hopeful. I am grateful the pain is subsiding. I almost feel normal from time to time. Lol.
