Awake Breast Augmentation. 25 Yrs Old Loving my New Boobs - Paramus, NJ

I never felt like a 26 yr old with the breasts I was born with. I never wore low cut shirts and I hated anything to do with wearing a bathing suit. I always wanted cleavage and to feel like a lady. I knew I wanted a breast augmentation but my parents were against it. I researched plastic surgeons and came across Dr. Gartner. He has high reviews and most importantly he is board certified. I also went the extra mile and looked him up on BBB. I called to make an appointment and the secretary talked to me on the phone about what would happen at the consult and all the different kinds of implants I can pick from. The day of the appointment I dragged my mother to come with me since I wanted an outsiders opinion, although she was against me getting the surgery she came with me. I was so scared and nervous walking into my consult but the girls at the front desk were so welcoming and calmed me down. When I met Dr. Gartner I instantly felt relaxed and welcomed. At the consult Dr. Gartner not only showed me implants but gave me an education on all the different kinds. He talked to me about general anesthesia or staying awake during the surgery. He also talked to my mom and by the end of the visit she was all for me getting implants. He was the only plastic surgeon I had a consult with and the day I met him I booked the date for my surgery. The girls at the front desk and Dr. Gartner helped me pick out sizes that would fit my body because I wanted them to look as natural as possible. The day of my surgery I was calm on the way there but the minute I had to change into the surgery gown I broke down in tears. The nurses talked to me calmed me down and assured me that everything would be okay. They gave me some pills to relax me before the surgery and I can honestly say they were amazing! I decided to stay awake since I know general anesthesia makes me throw up. Dr. Gartner spoke to me throughout the entire procedure telling me what he was doing. I felt a pinch when he numbed my chest but after that it was just slight tugging.. but if i can do it anyone can im the biggest baby i hate needles! After the first implant was in I fell asleep and they woke me up after to see my new boobs! Dr. Gartner spoke to my parents and told them everything went perfect during the surgery. I had a very fast and easy recovery. I could raise my arms and feed myself, the only pain I had was around my sternum. Dr. Gartner personaly called me to check up on me and so did the nurses the first 3 days. The staff was amazing throughout the entire process! I must have called them every day before and after my surgery to ask questions. Everyone cant believe I had a breast augmentation thats how natural they look! I can honestly say I love my breasts now. I have confidence and am so happy. I wear whatever I want to now and most importantly i feel comfortable in my own skin. I can't put into words how happy I am that I went to Dr. Gartner for my breast augmentation. I felt comfortable from the moment I walked into his office and continue to feel welcomed every time I have my check ups. Thanks again for everything! See you soon!!
