1.5 years POSTOP - Still lovin my results
Well it's been a year since my last post. All is back to normal and has been for quite some time. Full workouts with weight lifting, cardio, and HIIT have resumed. I made it through the holidays with minimal weight gain and back on clean eating with only a cheat meal on the weekends. Sitting down and not feeling my lower abdominal pooch rest on my upper thighs never gets old ;) The decision to have my TT and lipo was definitely a GREAT one and would recommend Dr. Leber to anyone looking for amazing results. I have not seen any other surgeon in the valley that has such an artistic eye for contouring the abdomen and leaving his patients with an absolutely adorable belly button! I hope my journey has been helpful for those of you just looking to start your own. Best of luck to you!
5 month post TT and lipo PICS
Seems like forever since I've been on. Holiday season came upon us and that meant busy time for me! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and here's to a blessed, healthy and prosperous New Year :)
As far as recovery goes, I'm still trying to push the limits in the gym and end up swollen and very sore for 2-3 day after. Cardio seems to be fine without any angry swelling afterwards. Incision line is lightening up more with the vitamin E. I have to say that I don't regret having the procedure and feel so much better and confident in my clothes. Still working at dropping a few more pounds especially with all the goodies from the holidays. Hope all of my fellow August TT'ers are doing great and are pleased with their results. It's been a journey for sure and we're still on it with only one way to go..forward!!

6 weeks postop update
Recovery has been steady. Still having swelling on and off. Started up some cardio without much difficulty. Tried some moderate weight lifting and really felt exhausted the following day! Definitely need to listen to your body as your progress with getting back to normal. "Normal" exercise seems so far away but patience is key! As far as any type of compression garments, I've gone some days without which feels really weird with tingly numbness in the belly areas. The lipo sites are only intermittently sore and achy but much better than before. Went out on the lake this past weekend and got to sport my bikini with a FLAT TUMMY for the first time! I was so excited to reveal my investment with family and friends and even sitting in the boat with no pooch hanging over my lower belly felt so great :) Incision is healing nicely. Seems more red to me but from what I've read, that's normal at 6-7 weeks. I'm using aloe vera and vitamin e during the day and silicone strip therapy at night. I will try to take some pics of my scar and post those soon.
Next appt with PS is in about a week where he plans on taking my AFTER PICS. Can hardly wait to see his before/after side by side.

After meeting with two "top" rated surgeons, it was very easy for me to make my choice. Dr. Leber met with my husband and I on our first visit. He took his time to take pictures...UGH! and made his recommendations for optimal result. He was never pushy or arrogant. His office staff was extremely accommodating since the doctor had been held over in surgery and offered a complimentary facial for my husband and I (nice bonus). He explained every aspect of the procedures in detail and shared multiple before/after photos of previous patients. I returned for my preop appt, re-reviewed my before pictures, asked several questions and was fully satisfied and nerves put at ease with Dr. Leber's detailed responses.
