More photos, day 5 with cast off

Side by side - day 4 with cast off

It's Friday and I got my cast off on Tuesday. It's still sore and swollen inside, especially inside my left nostril. I can breathe a lot better if I pull my nostril out for a second. Hopefully that goes away soon!

Trying to do some side-by-sides. I didn't really take proper "before" photos, so I've been looking through all these photos I have and don't have anything close up or clear. Goes to show, I always untagged or deleted photos of my profile view since I hated it so much. But here's something to compare...

Still loving my results and looking forward to more swelling to go down!

Cast off!

Got my cast off today and it looks GREAT!

The doc put some stuff on top of the cast to help some of the glue come off underneath. Took out my 4 stitches, then removed the cast by loosening it with some sort of scalpel. It was kind of painful. I even took a norco before the appointment. I got a little dizzy too so he laid me back in the chair and then I was fine. Still stuffy in the nostrils. I didn't have splits, so he didn't really remove anything from inside my nose. But I got saline drops to put in there to help release some of the dried blood. I can breathe better already though.

Results I think look great. I'm very very happy. The doc even says I'm swollen and the "hump", or what's left of my hump, will go down even more. Inside my nose I'm a little swollen too, which will go down in the next week. Here are some pics. Sorry for poor lighting, but I hate taking selfies!
