42 Year Old Woman with Flat Breasts - Palm Harbor, FL

I had gone to Dr Harrell originally for my breadt implants . He recommended saline implants with a lift . I had my surgery done 7-8 years ago and I was happy but not really that happy with the outcome . My breasts were scarred by the nipples. Dr. Harrell claimed that was just how I healed . So I just actually thought it was me . Turns out , it was him ! So, about two months ago , my right implant ruptured . I immediately went into see Dr. Harrell . His staff as well as himself were very cold and his office was just like it was years ago . Same furnishings and it seemed as though the medical chairs that they have you lay on were also the same . It seemed dusty and well not sanitized . Needless to say , Dr. Harrell said that I needed to have another surgery but this time it would take longer and the cost would be 16000.00$$! YIKES! His financial assistant brought me into another office (dirty dusty ) and tried to console me . She sympathized with my situation because I literally needed surgery and I needed it quickly . She asked if 16000.00 was affordable . Affordable to whom?? No , I said it was not . She paused and left the room . She came back and wrote another figure . How about 12000? I said No . She left again , supposedly to converse my inability to pay with the Doctor . She returns with a new figure . It was on going and I thought I was in a used car lot . I was so upset they had me agree to a 9000.00$ surgery and then they would also keep my insurance rebate from the implant company(1500$) . So it would be around 11000.00$. I left there in an awful state . Later that evening my older brother called and said to stay away from Dr. Harrell and his office . He referred another plastic surgeon . I actually went to him and I was so thankful . I tried to get my past medical records from Dr. Harrell's office but they played hardball with me . They claimed it took 14 days to get the records and another 14 days to deliver them after I paid the fee for them . Of course , fees for everything there . . My other plastics surgeon had fit my surgery on sooner then the two weeks Dr. Harrell's office were sending my records . So I never got them . They are not nice , expensive , and not worth the expense . The office is dusty and if that's the case it makes me wonder how sanitary the surgical center is . I will never go there again , I will never recommend them for anything except a recommendation to close its facility . Do not go to Dr. Randall Harrell for anything . Ever !! Please .
