Had Smartlipo MPX done on July 20, 2012...the doctor and staff have been excellent...have answered all questions....the doctor was up front about the surgery and everything I would be experiencing after the surgery (the nurse even gave me her cell phone # in case I needed her). He was wonderful throughout the surgery...terriffic sense of humor...kept me at ease throughout...was kind and caring and gentle....had a good first post op with very encouraging news about my results, I did not take anything before the surgery nor have I taken any pain meds (all I have taken was extra strength Tylenol), truthfully, the pain was not bad at all..just some dis comfort.. I was in surgery for about 3 hrs ..I go back on Aug 23....still wearing my garment and have followed all the directions the dr. told me to..

On day 12...I am healing and feel pretty good so far..swelling is subsiding and the bruising is fading...still a little soreness in the flank /back area. In reading some of the reviews..I am so glad that I did not have the pain that many had...I did not take anything before the surgery nor did I fill the pain med...just as I said before..extra strength Tylenol..that seemed to work well for me.
I see a large difference in my body already..I am technology challenged (just got a Smart Phone), so I don't know how to post photos...and besides..I did not take before photos..the dr, staff did and are taking photos everytime I go in.
It has been 2 weeks since the surgery...getting...

Bruising is fading swelling going down..still a little sore in areas ..I go in on Aug 23 for my 1 mo follow up.
Bruising has almost all gone...feeling stronger...

Love this doctor....so up front..I think at of all the drs I have ever gone to..he spent the most time talking to me and explaining things....he never made me think that it was going to be a "bed of roses"..he was straight with about everything and I mean everything I would experience..and he has been right on the money! So has his staff...they have encouraged me all along the way and want me to call them if I have any questions or problems.
