I was a skeptic of Velashape but once I understood how it works and committed to the 6 sessions, the backs of my thighs look amazing. After my first session, i did get a touch of bruising which my tech told me about. I took arnicka which helped the bruising go away faster.
After each session, the discomfort was better and about my 3rd session, I noticed the tightening and reduction of my cellulite. My tech made sure she reached the correct temperature with a body temp thermometer each time and she reminded me to drink extra water.
I really think it depends on who does it and if they are through which my tech, Hilary was. She explained everything to me so I could understand exactly why things were tightening or cellulite was reducing. She also explained that Velashape isnt for fat, but for cellulite and skin tightening which I think is a common misconception. I would highly recommend this procedure!!

I'm so glad to hear you had a good result at a medi-spa. Unfortunately, as can be read in the reviews, not everyone is quite as fortunate.
