Can't Wait to Get Them Out! - Orlando, FL

Hello everyone!
I finally decided to share my story with you guys because reading all the reviews have helped me so much, I would like to be able to help out however I can. I got my saline implants put in in 2004 under the muscle. Never had a problem but my PS kept telling me I had to wait for them to drop and that it would take some time. Well they never did. About 2 years later I went back to him because they were saggy and just didn't look good and he said I needed a lift. I almost had a heart attack and stormed out of his office crying and hopeless. I was in my thirties and hadn't had a baby and new if I had a lift I would not be able to breastfeed so that was not an option for me. So I had no choice but to live with them like that till I was ready for a lift. They looked horrible.

I had a baby when I was thirty five and I was able to breastfeed my daughter for 9 month. To make a long story short I started feeling some chest pain and burning on and off about a year ago but for the last two weeks it's been really bad. I had a mammogram last year and everything was normal. Thank God. First It was like a chest cramp, then the burning, then my armpits started hurting and felt hot and really sweaty, then I woke up one morning and my fingers in my left hand were in pain and stiff, then I had really bad pain in both arms and hands. I feel so bad I don't even want to get out of bed.Needless to say I freaked out and started doing research and discovered all the bad things that can happen to your body from having implants and I am so terrified that I might have developed an Auto Immune Disease . I went to see my primary care physician and we are still waiting for the blood test results to come in they should be in by Friday I hope. I will keep you guys posted. I have a ct scan scheduled for tomorrow to see what the hell is going on. I went to see a plastic surgeon on Tuesday and he told me he doesn't think my problem is implant related. YEA RIGHT. I have another appointment tomorrow with a very good doctor and hopefully I will schedule my implant removal surgery and get these poison bags out as soon as possible. Why after 9 years I'm having all these problems with them? Who knows knows. What I do know is that my body is in trouble and I pray that I can recover from all this with time.Has anyone had burning and chest pain and a feeling like you just got your boobs done a week ago? I am so scared. I cant even sleep cause of the pain. I will post all my pictures including whatever my implants look like when they come out. I pray there is no mold or bacteria in them. If there is I am in big trouble and I have a long recovery ahead of me. I guess it's time to find out what I'm really made of. Please wish me luck cause I need it. I will post my pics and my results tomorrow good or bad.

Congratulations on your decision. I wish all women would be aware of all the immune problems they Could be in for, Prior to implants. Don't stress yourself about your health. Concentrate on being healthy. :) I know how hard that is, but it really helps. Start eating right and keep busy. I wish you great health and healing. I'll be following your posts. Good Luck. Stay Positive!
Hi, what dr are you using for your explant? I am going removal my implants this summer and I live in Orlando also? Thanks
I still haven't found the right one. Most of them don't want to deal with removing the capsule, they don't put any drains, they say my scar will be ugly, and then some of them say you have to remove the capsule and that drains are necessary. I have no clue wait to do. I am taking my time because with all the money that they are charging me I will have to live with whatever I get for a long time. I have seen works of art so I know it is possible. I have 10 more to interview and hopefully by next year I will have found the right one. I am suffering cause I want them out but I don't want a crap job so failure is not an option. I will keep looking even if it means that I have to talk to every singe plastic surgeon here in Orlando, Tampa, and Miami. What about you, did you find someone you like?
Sorry I took so long to get back to you! :)
I too have autoimmune issues. They started about a year after I got my implants. You need to read my profile. It's all in there. This is one of the main reasons that I'm being explanted... This and CC. I dont believe the PS industry when they tell us that autoimmune issues arent related to our implants. They all cite the studies done back in the eighties that refute this. Those studies were only carried out for nine years. Like Dr. Kolb of Atlanta says "That's like following smokers for nine years and then concluding that smoking doesn't cause lung disease." Hang in there and have hope.
My diagnosis of Hashimoto's (autoimmune thyroid disease) sealed my decision to explant. No doctor will admit that your problems may be implant related. You have to do what is best for you. Just be sure that you are ready to accept the new look that you will have. It may be a shock at first. Things get better though, you can see it from everybody's pictures here. Best of luck to you!
Pictures aside has your health recovered?
Thank you so much for your support. I can't tell you guys how much this means to me! It's so hard to stay positive when you feel like crap and no one understands you or believes you. I have to try to move forward I guess. My blood test results aren't back yet and my CT scan is scheduled for next Monday. I will keep everyone posted. I am not sure if to have my implants removed and immediately do a lift or remove them and wait. I have 2 doctors telling me to do it right away and I have 3 telling me to wait. I have no idea what to do. I guess I will focus on rebuilding my health. If all goes well I will be removing my implants next week.
