loving them but feeling restless...
Hello!! So today is 18 days post op. I'm feeling amazing and I'm loving them more each day. Went to the doctor yesterday and he's very happy with how everything looks, has instructed me to continue changing out my tapes daily as I have been doing and using the recovery scar serum. I am amazed at how good the incisions are looking, in in just one week I have noticed a significant difference. So excited for them to drop a bit more. Still cannot exercise :'( Im used to running at least 3-4 times a week and after week one I just want to run again! Maybe next Monday when I see him he will allow me to at least do squats and lunges,lol. Happy healing friends!!
Tapes came off today.....
So today was 10 days post op, went in to see the nurse today ( doc is out for this week) and we took the tapes off. Incisions were not nearly as bad as I had imagined. I'm sure I will heal well and have minimal scaring. I am to change my tapes out everyday now and put some scar serum on that I bought at the office. Massaging has gotten easier but when the nurse did it to me today I realized I was being too easy on myself, lol. So I am trying to step it up and even had hubby help me tonight. When he does it, it feels like the doctor or nurse is doing it. Physically I feel too good,I have to keep reminding myself that I can't be lifting or over doing it ( especially with a 15 month old). Going back to work tomorrow, mentally I'm so ready and physically too, but I guess we'll see at the end of my day tomorrow, lol. Xoxo

Couldn't sleep so I had me a little photo shoot, lol. Righty seems to be very tight and high still :( I know I will always have some degree of asymmetry because of how my anatomy is, I'm grateful though because this is way better than what I had going on before! Xo
