4th Day Update
Update: per Dr. Gongora I was ready to come home since Thursday night, I stayed another day due to my pressure dropping very low that I almost fainted on Thursday morning. That was scary. Friday morning I woke up a lot better with more energy and color. I was ready to leave, Dr came in at mid-day and reassured me I was good to go home. I came home on Friday from Rosarito to Orange County mid day in the rain. That was a risky drive but thank God I was home safe. Sleepy pill took care of me :) . This time off has me a little anxious/depressed. About pain I am off pain meds for now since the pain is tolerable for me. Maybe once I feel more sensation I will use them more, no bruising and still draining. Walking is tiring but trying to move around and not be too swollen, my walker is my best friend for now. Per my nurse at home ;) my incisions are looking well and closing right. Got to go getting ready for my 5th day post visit.
Post-Op
I woke up in my room. I was excited to wake up. Did not wake up with much pain as I was anticipating. It was tolerable and slept in until this morning. I was super hungry. Nurses came in and were impressed on how good I was hours from surgery. They changed my dressings and I had no brusings. Its amazing how good I am feeling and how my recuperation will be. Thank God its all coming along as planned.
Pre-Op
I got to the clinic at 830am as told. Brought my belongings into my room and filled out and signed paperwork. I finished and relaxed for a few more hours until the time came. I walked to the surgery room and was out in 2 minutes.
