I'm into my 3rd vellashape treatment and boy does it hurt. It feels like the machine is trying to suck the top layer of my skin off while burning it. I'm getting vella on my tummy and have not seen results as yet. I'm signed up for 10-12 treatments.....I hope it get easier!!!

Has anyone else seen results in reduction of the tummy area?????!!!!!

I'll put up pics after my 4th treatment.

I had Velashape done on my tummy....very painfull and so not worth it. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID :(

It was soooooo not worth it!! I wasted a lot of money!!! Very painful and no inch loss!

Hi Tummy,

Welcome to and thanks for joining the community! Here is one of our community members who was happy with their procedure. I guess sometimes you have to take the pain for beauty, :) but I hope during your next visit they could do a topical anesthesia, or maybe even just take a few pain killers before you go. Please keep us updated and pictures would be awesome.

Yes I agree...what is a little pain for beauty!

Thanks for the idea of pain killers...never thought of that!!

I'll let you know if it made a difference next week.

Hi Tummy,

Yeah I've taken pain killers before I've gotten a tattoo, waxed, or anytime I've gone to the dentist and it helps it was recommend to me once so I assume it would be the same thing, but check with your doctor first. Keep me updated.
