7.5 weeks and feeling great!

Well I never posted my six week pics do I guess I'll do that now :) I started using new gel+ yesterday so I hope it works. I know in a few weeks late on that but oh well. I went in on the 2nd and had my old piercing removed. I'm a little swollen and really bruised from that still. When it heals I'll post before and after pics.

30 days and feeling thin!!

This pick was taken day 28. From the side I feel tiny but from the front... Blah. My hips are still so swollen from lipo. It's weird. You can SEE my hip bones and then my sides are just puffy :( pretty sure I have dog ears at my drain sites which I'm not happy about. But whatever I'm still happy :) I've been running on my elliptical and I'm going to start squats again this week. Need to get everything else in shape!

Day 20 and.... Irritated.

I had my belly button pierced years ago. After three pregnancies the piercing was stretched and droopy. I took out the piercing when I first got pregnant but it never fully closed up. I found out after my surgery that my dr didn't remove it. He sewed the holes shut. He told me that he was hoping once I was healed the old piercing would flatten out and he didn't wavt to give me a bigger vertical scar if it wasn't necessary. Well it didn't flatten out. So now my perfectly flat smooth tummy has a noticeable bubble of loose skin a few inches below my belly button. It looks disgusting and it's embarrassing. I understand him wanting to minimize my scar but honestly if he would have asked me before the surgery I would have told him to take it off. I mean what's another inch of scar?? So now I have to wait till 6 weeks PO to have him remove it AND I have to pay extra. I'm still extremely happy with my dr despite this hiccup. My healing has been exceptional easy and pain was minimal.
