WORTH IT$3,000
A few more photos added. Really nothing to report. Going to gym again. Light upper body work and cardio for now. I stop if I feel any twinging. Right nipple SLOWLY becoming less annoying but still really sensitive. Seat belts suck. Have some Palmers Scar Serum which I am massaging in now which feels really good. Getting to the point where I do not think about the boobies (until nipp acts up).

Had a stitch that I was not able to get out so did a quick trip to the doc's office. Turns out it is an internal stitch and I just need to leave it alone...BUT...I got the all clear for everything - gym, golf, swimming.....everything.
They were most impressed with my healing progress and even brought the new nurse trainee in to look at them, I don't mind - I will show these to anyone. Gotta take some pics to show you guys.

Hi,
Do you mind if I ask where and with whom you had your procedure done? My family isn't far from ontario and my mom and sister told me they would start saving up to get my 34-36DDD's off of 4'10" 120lb me when I'm out of school next summer.
Also, did you have drainage tubes inserted?

WooHoo! Congrats on the all clear! Isn't it amazing how easily you will now show your boobs to anyone who is curious?! :-D
You were cleared to golf after only one month?

Yesterday was week 4 with small boobies! This week I am on holidays at the cottage and letting them loose and free as much as possible. Not in the sun of course, but in the screened in porch (where I have just woken up from a nap). Still can't post pics but righty is starting to drop and round out on the bottom - yay, lefty still a bit boxy. I do have a bit of wrinkling around the nipples, stubborn stitches I hope. I pulled a couple more out the other day but there is one that is super stubborn. I am also red on all incisions! I guess that is just the way I heal. Still kind of freaks me out. But i have been told i have very irritable skin and two nurses and a doc looked and said all was good so deal with it chickie! Left nipple is almost back to its former self - not too sensitive but righty is going to do me in! Most of the time she is fine but sometimes she just goes freaky and irritates the crap out of me. Bad nipple!
I too have the little side flaps at the lipo site and really hope those suckers go down soon. I have been massaging them but from other accounts it could be awhile for that to go down after lipo. Better hurry the hell up cause i have to go to England for a wedding and damn it i need to buy a dress - strapless of course! But so much for the idea of getting lipo on my flanks! That would be depressing if my ass ended up bigger for months after!
Still have not showered...and thank the boob gods for Piggles and her comment about baby wipes!
I did try wearing a real bra...for a few hours then it was digging in on the sides so off that sucker went. Geez after 4 weeks of not having to wear one, do I really want to (have to) now?
Out for now...

Life at the cottage sounds pretty ideal!
Did you try putting gauze pads under the band of the bra? That seemed to help me. Keep up the massage on the scars, that will help to soften them. Also I had wrinkles along my incisions for a couple of months, but as the settling took place that all evened out. I don't have any wrinkles now. The only thing that is really different for me is that my nipples have kind of a conical shape to them at times, but at least they aren't pointing south :-D
Thanks Iowa. Will try that next time I have to wear a bra. It is just sore where the lipo was everywhere else was fine! Agreed on the not pointing south bit. Cottage neighbour stopped by to admire them yesterday. She very jealous. :-)
Hello Bye Bye and friends
I just had my surgery august 9th...and its been a week... right now, its looking pretty scarey... tons of bruising, and the shape is not what I expected...but apparently this is normal?

Hi katty! Welcome! Do not dispair, bruising is very normal. I was umpteen shades of purple, Blue, green, yellow, orange...after! It will go away. As for shape, you are just a week out of surgery...congrats..but your breasts have not dropped or relaxed. They are still swollen as well most likely. It takes some time for your skin to stretch and relax. If they are boxy or flat on the bottom, that is perfectly normal. Look at some after pics and you will see that most of us are (were) boxy for a few weeks. Breasts also heal at different speeds so one might drop or heal before the other. (at 4 weeks, lefty is boxy but the nipple is not too sensitive while righty is rounding out at the bottom but nipple is über-sensitive). If you are at all concerned about anything though, do not hesitate to call your PS.
So give yourself time to heal and enjoy the new boobs.

thank you :)
they are a funny looking shape for sure! I went today to a specialty shop to get a proper fitting bra ... paid a bit more but i wanted to get the proper service for post surgery and this place was fantastic. anyway, the lady there said i was very swollen under the arm area... which i knew... and am a bit concerned about...but i got a very good bra from her that I love love love and actually had a decent rest today for the first time since the surgery because of the solid support of it. i have my first check up on thursday the 23rd coming...so it will be interesting to see what the doc says. they took a total of about 5 lbs and boy oh boy, you sure can see that a lot was taken.
my big thing right now is trying to keep up my energy...i am having a hard time with this part. any suggestions?

Hi, I am on week 10 and went swimming in a lake around week 3 but only a quick dip as it was sweltering, I showered and used disinfecting soap right away after getting out and all was fine. Good to be safe though, I am still having trouble with energy and went out and got a protein powder which I add fruit and make a shake and this helps. I did see Palmers in shoppers so it does exist here. I could only wear a bra for 4 hours the first month or so and went braless but am now more tolerant. Heal well, enjoy what's left of the summer.
