Boob Butter and more...
I'm about 5 weeks post, and up until now I have been using bio oil and vitamin e on my war torn boobs to help them recover. I have been preparing and researching natural ingredients to support skin cell rejuvenation, elasticity, firming, and scar care. I have been using my scar care cream for about a week, and yesterday I made 4 jars of the basic recipe that I will turn into my homemade whipped boob butter. Today I will add further ingredients to make one jar a lighter day cream, and another jar into a super rich night cream. I will be starting this immediately now that I am almost 6 weeks post.
For those who are interested, the ingredients in this basic cream are: shea, cocoa butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, sesame seed oil, sweet almond oil, vitamin e oil, witch hazel, rose water(made with distilled water and rose essential oil), lanolin, glycerine, lanolin, and natural vanilla extract. Full of delicious healthy goodness to feed the little things. I'm not expecting a miracle, just pampering them with skin food so they have the best chance to be their natural best.
I was the head cosmetologist at a major drug store chain for years, and know what's in products, and what they cost. I also have a daughter with serious skin issues from an immune disorder, and have been treating her condition with topical creams for healing because all the steroid creams were not helping her, just hurting her if anything. Out of frustration, we started getting into medicinal creams. It has been hugely beneficial to her as they are all natural, and work better than the creams doctors prescribed, without the harsh chemical and negative side effects. Plus, it has been great fun, and they are great to make as gifts!
After this, I'll be making a boob massage oil, toner, and mask. Ha Ha ha...
Have a good day ladies, and if anyone wants a recipe, just send me an email..
Hugs to all!

Photos from week 4
At the time of this photo (week four) I had lost 5 lbs after surgery.
I am just shy of 5 weeks post explant now and have lost another 2 pounds despite my best attempts to get my IBS to settle down. The anesthetic sent it for a loop for two weeks, and there has been mega stress with my daughters illness which sends my adrenaline into over-drive, and triggers the IBS.
When I gain that 7 pounds back I am sure it could only help the boobs. So, we'll see.
Either way, I'm thrilled!
The pain is subsiding from those nasty things, and the incisions are healing really great with the exception of where the drain was on my left side, is just a smidge behind.
They are firming up for the little saggies they are...and I love being small!
