Why: I had high BP & was just waiting for diabetes to hit.
I went into the surgery at 274#. Within 1 year, I was down to 112. I got way too thin. Now, 6 years later, I weigh a 138# and am in a size 8. I look and feel the best I have ever felt. It is not a "cure all", I have to watch what I eat and exercise. If you ever overeat and get the dumping, you try your hardest NOT to ever do that again. I paid for it myself, as my ins. did not cover wt. loss surgery.

6 Months post op and I feel Amazing. A wife and a mother of 2, life was already hectic. My husband before surgery (446 IBLS) and me before surgery (297 IBLS) We were a health nightmare. It took a total of 16 months for us to have the suregery. Today we are 6 and 7 months post op. My husband is now 276, ( 170 pounds lost) and I am at 189 ( 109 pounds lost) We feel incrediable. It has changed our lives!!!
