I changed my life Jan 2009. I started calorie counting and added a walk after work a couple times a week. Almost 4 years later I've lost 90lbs, I attend regular classes and watch what I eat. Everyday I set my mind to celebrate the 80% and don't sweat the 20%. I decided to do the TT so my outside matches my inside.

I had my Pre-op physical done yesterday with my family Dr. All went well and they were all pretty happy and excited for me :) Its been a long road so this all seems a little like a dream right now. I keep myself from getting to excited thinking something might happen to make it where I am not able to have the TT done. I have continued to drop a few more lbs which I am really happy about...however its probably from stree LOL anyway as of this morning I am less than 3 weeks away!!

Day of treatment
A life time of dreaming about this day but then really contemplating if this is really for me started about 3 years ago. Today is the day. I am excited but not overly excited or nervous. I am sure this will start when i get to the doctors office and they start marking me up. My mom is an amazing support. She is truly my best friend and could not do this without her or my husband. Here goes nothing.I am ready to cross over to the flat side.

I am 14 days P.O. and loving it!! I was cleared to go back to work and to the gym. I walked on the Treadmill and did low cardio bursts with the inclines. I also did arms and legs with light weights. All went great and I felt like I got a great workout without all the jumping and running :) I start work next week!!! I still swell at the end of the day but that is to be expected and I am finally able to lie in bed with very little tilt. I still have a couple pillows under my legs for support. My energy is high and I am feeling great!!

I am 3 weeks PO....I have gone back to work and back to the gym..I am doing all low options and staying away from mat/floor work in zumba and cardio kickboxing. I am also able to sleep flat with my knees still proped up on some pillows, but at least I am in my own bed again (hubby is happy about that also). I am tired by the time I get home but not overly tired. I wear my CG everyday and will have to until at least 6 weeks. I am loving my results. I hadn't told anyone at work but man they have noticed..LOL thats a good thing I think :) I still swell at the end of the day mostly in my hip area and of course my tummy, it all goes down by morning. I still don't eat any salt or carbs and very little sugar. I eat lots of protien and drink lots of water and that seems to work well for my body and my energy.
Welcome Girlie:)
