Botox Bruising & Swelling - Old Bridge, NJ

I have had botox injections 5 times before....

I have had botox injections 5 times before. Usually, after about half an hour, I couldn't tell I had anything done. This time around, 10 hours later, I have major bruising and swelling (looks like I got hit with a baseball bat) on my forehead. I also have needle marks and my forehead is extremely tender. I have gone to this doctor before and thought I could trust her. She kept injecting the same sites on my forehead over and over, like it was a filler. When I left the office my entire forehead was swollen with marble sized balls. There were two spots between my eyebrows which were bigger than the rest. She assured my they would go away withing the hour. Well, I still have two huge, bruised, hard, swollen spots, with the needle marks to go along with it. To top it off, looks like she missed my frown lines entirely. Also, I was charged $100 more than last time, even though I wanted the exact same thing done.

Great review?

I found them online and had used them previously for botox and chemical peels.

Only botox in my forehead, no fillers. There are only two lines between my eyebrows that need it, not my entire forehead. It happened so fast and I never imagined the results would be that extreme or severe, not for a routine botox appt. I trusted her and thought she knew what she was doing. I guess I'm still a bit intimidated by doctors, but I need to get over that and question anything they do differently. I didn't notice it was $100 more until I got home and compared the price I paid back in March. I went back to the office yesterday (Monday - 7/23). That particular doctor wasn't there but I showed my forehead, which today is still swollen and red, to the other staff members. They gave me a $200 refund and assured me the needle marks and my red and swollen forehead isn't permanent. It's just frustrating to have to wait so long for my face to get back to normal from something that shouldn't have been noticeable at all.

Did you ask her why she kept injecting the same area?

Also, I'm assuming you only received Botox in your forehead, no fillers there, is that correct?
