“Under Eye and Around Mouth Perlane Injections - Oklahoma City, OK”

I am a attractive 42 yr old woman who weighs 105 pds. I have always taken care of my skin except for occassional tanning (which I have committed never to do again..) This year I noticed more fine lines and lose of fat in my face. My smile lines havent looked so happy...also I was really flat under my eyes near my nose which made under my eyes look darker. I also had this crease that looked like a moon shaped scar under my mouth, apparently from a certain way I hold my mouth. I have a fabulous doctor who a friend referred me to. She has an excellent reputation and has used Perlane since before it was FDA approved. In consulting with her about possible Botox or a chemical peel, she suggested a "global facial approach" with more "bang for my buck". She said Perlane was safe, long lasting, and provided exceptional results to get the image I was wanting to achieve. Initially, I had injections under my eyes near my nose, 10 ml for $500. then 3 days later, I got injections in from the bottom of my nose, along the edges of my smile lines and at the edges of my lips, and the little crease under my mouth. I am bruised and swollen but make up helps. She expects I will need another 1/2 syringe under my eyes for the effect I want. I return in two weeks to decide. She saw me yesterday because I needed reassurance everything was okay...(I was particularly concerned about a welt under my right eye). She provided me her cell phone and said to call anytime..She also said the wonderful thing about Perlane is if you make a mistake with it, it is easily corrected. No matter what I have consulted about with my doctor, she has always looked at the big picture and done what was best for me. Since it is my face, I felt it worth the investment and wanted to use the safest, most effective product.

I had a full syringe of Juvaderm XC two weeks after the Perlane...less painful and less bruising, but I do have pressure and white discoloration (looks like little water bags in my cheeks.......it already looks better with more volume....
