When in Doubt... GO BIG!! - Okinawa, Japan

ORIGINAL POST

I am only 1 month out, so I may feel differently...

WORTH IT$8,000

I am only 1 month out, so I may feel differently about everything after a year, but so far I am rather disappointed with my size. I started with an a cup and had 350 silicone hp unders done.

Overall, breast augmentation was totally worth every penny and they are MUCH better, but I have a lot of regret about the size. I wish I had gone with 450 cc's. I went to a Japanese doctor who is super conservative and I wish I would have waited and gone to an American doctor. Also, the recovery is awful. I can still barely run, lift, or do much exercise, I still have trouble lifting my almost 2 year old, and I still can't stretch my arms past my head. I'm still considering doing it again though to go bigger, so I guess it's worth it!

Ladies, fake breasts look much smaller than real ones, so when in doubt... GO BIG! Also, choose a doctor that you really feel good about and look around. Take your time, ask lots of questions, be really specific, and do your research. I feel this would have saved me a lot of disappointment.

I think he was a good doctor but there is a huge cultural gap and small language barrier between us that really impaired our communication. He may be great for small Japanese women looking for smaller, more natural looking breasts.

Are you an expat living in Japan, then?

I'm sorry your breasts aren't quite what you'd hoped. If you don't get the implants upped, at least you can take comfort in the fact that smaller breasts often age better than bigger ones.

Thanks for sharing your story on RealSelf.

hi i'm planning on getting 350 cc's too. I wear 34 AAAAAAAAAAAAA- , 116 lbs. and 5'2" what is your stats. I wanted 375 cc's my doc agrees but he is still trying to talk me out of 375cc
I am sorry but you are unrealistic. Bigger implants would be very big on you and have more complications. Going through another surgery and risk your life is a stupid move in my opinion. You are 1 month after surgery and you are expecting to move like nothing happened? Every person is different and reading about how other women heel is not a good idea. It is like giving birth to a child. For every woman is different, the pain etc. Leave it alone and be happy. I wish I had got your size but because mine are very small. My width is not as narrow as it shows. Why don't you post photos to see your size?
