I am sooooooo looking forward to getting this done! I have read about Dr's using Exparel as a 72 hour numbing agent that they inject before sewing you back up.....rather than using pain pumps, I think this is what my Dr. Is using and I am so thrilled, sounds like a fairly new approach to pain (April 2012), my Dr. Also does quilting sutures that I believe sews or glues?? Your interior flap down which helps with preventing fluid retention...anyone have any experience or knowledge on these???

I am 19 days PO TT/Lipo today... I am still sooooo swollen.... my stomach is thick and my torso looks deformed!! I've got huge "love handles" and all around them it is hard and still sore... I'm hoping still swollen... also my legs, thighs are soooo swollen, even my stretch pants are tight!! I go for my 2nd post op May 5th.... is this all just swelling?!! I'm getting discouraged....

I had a TT & BA on march 5th and my PS does use the same stitch. I have some swelling but I don't think it's been to bad. He also uses Exparel It works reallly well, I only had to take 3 painkillers total. Hope that helps.
