After losing and gaining and losing and gaining...
After losing and gaining and losing and gaining and losing weight again, my stomach suffered a bit. I also had two kids, which didn't help (don't ask how it was possible. It was.) I decided to get rid of the flabby skin as well as of some trouble areas on my body. Even when I was really skinny (not a healthy skinny) I still had some flank and inner thighs pockets of fat that I couldn't get rid off. I also have fat on my mons pubis that just never goes away, no matter how much I weight.
I choose Dr Medalie because I liked his results and all the informations presented on his website. Looking through everything on the Net can be confusing and surgeons don't have the same methods or the same approaches. I like that he put his ideas out there. Plus, when I sent him a message, he was quick to respond, very clear. The other reason where I decided to go to Dr Medalie (even though it's soooooooo far away from where I live) is that he was way cheaper than anyone but still had results that I found impressive. Also, and that was my main incentive: he was familiar with trans people. That fact put me at ease. He isn't a cherry funny person but he is honest, right to the point and I respect that.
So we decided for a modified mini tummy tuck without muscle repair and he said he was automatically doing lipo of the lower abdomen and the flanks to make things fit together nicely. As my pubic area was the main reason I was approaching him, he said he would lift it up a little and lipo the mons pubis. At that point, the price was pretty set and it wasn't that much expensive to had a few places more: upper abdomen, inner thights and chin, which is where I gain rapidely and lose at the end.
My weight flutuated a lot over the years, my highest was 216. I am not a stable 168, which is still too big for my 5 foot 5 frame. I wish to get down to 148 but I'm not hoping lipo and the tummy tuck with help me achieve that on their own. Surgery is tomorrow, I will post before pictures soon.
