After two pregnancies, I had lost what felt like...

After two pregnancies, I had lost what felt like the majority of my breast volume and fullness. I was struggling to accept the changes in my breasts and I was just not feeling as confident. After conducting my own extensive research online, my thoughts were that small, cohesive gel implants would give me the desired outcome, but I had questions about the safety of silicone. After a consultation and pre-op appointment with Dr. Park and many questions, I decided on 300 cc Mentor "gummy bear" implants, which I was satisfied would be safe. The implants were placed sub-muscular with the incision infra-mammary (under the breast). I had reservations about this incision choice initially as I had always heard of women going through the nipple to avoid scarring. After Dr Park explained the increased chance for infection and implant placement concerns with going through the nipple, I decided under the breast was the better choice. Surgery was a quick process and I was home within a few hours. I was very sore throughout my upper torso for about 48 hours and experienced some muscle spasms from going under the muscle. This discomfort was easily controlled with prescription medication provided to me and my pain rapidly subsided each day before nearly resolving by day 7. Overall this was an easy procedure/recovery. I am extremely happy with the results, which look and feel like natural breasts.

Dr. Park stood out among the vast choices of plastic surgeons in San Diego because of his stellar reviews and fair pricing. I also loved what I saw on his website regarding his many years of service to the United States and as a humanitarian, volunteering his services to those in need. Not to mention that his education, credentials and background are very impressive. But, you would never know it in speaking with him. There was no sign of the "entitlement attitude" that often comes with such qualifications. I was so impressed by how friendly and kind he is. He was always incredibly easy to talk to and seemed genuinely interested in listening to what I had to say. He dedicated ample time to me at each appointment and answered all my questions in great detail. He personally called my husband after my surgery while I was in recovery to give him an update and he also called me later that evening to see how I was feeling. This stood out to us both as a special touch as, in my experience, an assistant usually handles those sort of things. His office staff and the surgery center he uses for procedures like breast augmentations down the street from his office were also all a pleasure from start to finish. I would recommend Dr. Park's services to anyone! I don't have any plans for more plastic surgery, however, I will be returning to him in the future for botox/fillers/peels, etc., as needed to help me age as gracefully as possible!
