How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

This pic is a side by side comparison of in the morning.... and then just a few hours of running around doing errands. Swell hell is real!

Seroma at day 28

Hi realself friends

Everything was going beautifully in the recovery process. I wear my compression garnment 24/7 and only take it off 20min to shower 3 times a week. I don't do enough to warrant showers more often than that. I sit reclined all day. I will take and pick up kids to and from school but that's about it.
Anyway, last night I noticed that I had a seroma. I am very swollen and above the belly button is firm swelling and below the belly button is squishy swelling and when I touch it... it ripples like a wave or a water bed. I sent off pictures and even a video to Dr. H's office this a.m and they got back with me promptly and agree that I had a seroma and that it needs to aspirated. I live many hours away from Dr. H so I have to find someone local to aspirate it. I called our local-ish (I live in the country) plastic surgeon and they needed Dr. H's office to fax over my surgical information. Jennifer (Dr. H's out of patient coordinator) is wonderful. She did it immediately and emailed me the confirmation and has been so accommodating. So, tomorrow I will figure out where I can go to get this thing aspirated!
