It's been a while !!!

I have a question for any one who had the sleeve done or any of the weight loss surgeries.. Have any of you developed any issues with your hips ?? After my surgery I've developed bilateral hip issues where I can no longer do high impact exercise and may need a bilateral hip replacement... I've met a couple of sleevers that have had no replacements... My orthopedic doctor said that the reasons for my hip issues are unexplained because it is commonly known in alcoholics or people who take steroids for long periods of time and I don't fit either criteria and add I've done research I've learned that this can happen !!!

1 year and 16 days since my surgery

It's been a lil over a year since my surgery, I've reached my goal weight but I thought that after a year if be able to eat a lil more.. I've been having trouble eating and I'm feeling very weak more like sleepy I can literally sleep all day if possible... I have restarted my protein shakes to see if it helps I know that at this point I'm not getting the nutrients I need daily being that once I start eating after a couple of bites I feel like the food is just stuck. I mostly drink coffee through out the day food isn't my friend so I'm hoping that the shakes help with my energy level... I have my appt with the plastic surgeon on Monday god willing all goes well and they approve the TT, I'll keep y'all posted.... Is anyone else having the same problem as me with the food intake?

1 year follow up

Today I saw my surgeon for my one year post op follow up, I'm so excited he was happy with my outcome.... we discussed my loose skin on my abdomen and he has referred me to the plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck, I'm super excited especially since he said my insurance should cover most or all of the cost.... I'm glad that I met my goal weight as the doctor wanted and able to move on to the next phase.... I'll keep everyone posted on the TT progress with the insurance fingers crossed hoping and praying for the approval but first things first waiting on my consult date with the plastic surgeon....
