I have had radiesse a number of times, always with positive results. I wish I could say that for this last time....I have been unemployed for over 2 years and needed a little pick me up, so i decided to go for a little plumping of my cheeks.

Saw a plastic surgeon on dr. oz's show, and decided to go see her. I have been going to derms for my fillers but thought maybe a plastic surgeon would be better for cosmetic purposes. She first talked me into botox which i hadnt wanted but said if her assistant did it, the price would be much less, and she decided to use radiesse in my cheeks. she also tried to talk me into an eyelift. 1500 dollars later, i came home and could immediately see that the radiesse was injected in the wrong areas of my face, more along the sides of my nose, rather than the apples of my cheeks, and it was also injected to close to my inner eye corner, causing a bump there and a depression/hollow under the eye.

I called the office and was told not to panic, it is swelling and the dr. did not inject the product near the eye. well two weeks later, it was no better, so i went back and was told it wasnt that bad and i could either live with it and it will eventually dissipate or i could choose to get restylane to fill the hollow and smooth out the undereye area, of course at my expense.....well i couldnt live looking this way so i paid another 1100 for the restylane. two weeks later, i am dark, lumpy, and have little fluid filled bumps under the eye. i went back for hyaluronidase twice, to dissolve the product and i still have lumps, overfill in certain spots and hollows in others and look 10 years older. I am so devastated, i do not have the money right now to fix this with a better doctor and i start a new job tomorrow, so i dont even have the time. I do not understand how these drs take no responsibility for their mistakes. it is so unfair and we have no recourse.

My Doctor: name not provided

My rating:

she ruined my undereye area, she was clearly not experienced with fillers.

Hi Judy,

Thanks for the review. Oh my I'm so sorry this has happened to you. The good news is Restylane doesn't last forever it should dissolve. And now congrats on a job, you can work a bit and then have money to get it fixed somewhere else. I know patience is hard. Please keep us updated.

Thanks,

-Britt
