I've had a few VI Peel's in the past - mostly to regain the glow I typically loose after the summer since I just can't keep enough SPF on apparently. My aesthetician told me that I should try the new Precision Plus peel with skin lightening/brightening ingredients. Sure it cost $100 more then the regular VI Peel but it was WELL worth it.
Maybe because it's like 20% stronger? I actually ended up peeling two times. And the process took a little longer - 8 days.
I found that I experienced the typical itching and swelling that always occurs when I get medical peels - but a little Advil and Benedryl made for a more tolerable experience. I can't believe how many people have commented on how different I look.
Did I really look that bad before? Geez.
The other thing I did differently this time (for about 4 weeks now) is started to use a the suggested Hydroquinone Free Bleaching Cream - I haven't had a single break out and my skin is looking rather radiant!!! I'm hooked.

I choose them because they a friend referred me.
Wow, I can't help but to comment that $400 is a lot for a peel! That combined with 8 days for the peeling process, and I'm not sure it would appeal to me unless it was wiping out nearly every line and unevenness on my face!
Do you have before & after pictures?? I'd love to see the changes. I'm assuming they really are great since you felt it was worth it.
Well, obviously value is subjective, but yes, for me personally I would think it was too much for a peel.
