My mother and I both had Lifestyle Lift done a year and a half ago.  The first six months were wonderful.  We were told that the results would last 4 to 7 years and in some people 10 to 12 years.  We're 18 months out and not happy at all.  As a matter of fact we went back to them last week to complain.  We were told that the salesperson (consultant) is no longer with them because she was making claims of the procedure's results lasting longer than they have now found it actually does.  Well, thanks a lot!

I have awful scars in front of my ears.  Even 18 months out, the scars are very visable.  My jowls are back (although not as bad as they were) and my neck is starting to hang again.   What bothers me most are the scars.  I can't wear my hair back as I 've always loved to do.

My mothers results were great--the first 6 months.  Except she has had a 1 1/2" flap near her ear that they are still trying to flatten out with corizone shots.  Her scars are not as wide as mine, but are surely visible.  Her neck is as bad as it was prior to surgery.

We are now told that if we're unhappy we should go for a full face lift which is what we were trying to avoid in the first place.

Anyone who is serious about this procedure, please understand it is not as long lasting as you are promised.  I would have been happy with 4 years.  But 6 months?  Not for what we paid!

We're still going back and forth to them so that they will make it right as they have promised us they would.

Buyer beware.  And note the dates of the people who are happy with the procedures!  We too were happy after a month, or two, or three.  Just wait until month 6, 8 or 10!!!

Thanks for your response Audrey.  I have always eaten well (fruits and veggies are my mainstays) and I walk alot.  I guess I was looking for a magic bullet!  But that being said, LSL should not be promising results which they cannot deliver.  Nor should they be claiming it will last for much longer than it does.  Lastly, these darn scars are horrible!  I'm happy you had great results!

I have recently seen the TV info-mercials for the life style lift. At 45 my wife had expressed sadness at the effects of gravity on here jowls and neck. I was going to surprise her with the go ahead on the LL lift but after reading the reviews and seeing there is only 50% positive out come experience, we will not be concidering this as an option. Good luck to those of you that underwent the proceedure and had negative results. Thank you for sharing your experience to help others make an informed decision.
