“Not a Lot of Whitening and a Really Big Blister”

I wanted to whiten my teeth for a long time. My dental clinic was offering a "Christmas special"--so that's why I did it.

Even though my dentist coated my lips with protective ointment and draped the gums and lips, I experienced a huge blister from the whitening light on the front inside of my lower lip. It was the size of my thumb!-- extremely painful and swollen for days. It took over a month for the blister to become tolerable and a lot longer to heal. My dentist did not seem that concerned when I went back to report--after the office was closed a week for Christmas.

My Christmas was not special at all that year--nor was my New Year.
