After 7 years of pain and discomfort and knowing I...
After 7 years of pain and discomfort and knowing I had PIP Implants for the last two I did much research to find Adrian Richards.
I had two other consultations with highly recommended surgeons but left feeling worse about myself then I did beforehand and one surgeon telling me that my incisions had to be made larger which I was not happy with.
My free consultation with Adrian Richards was short and sweet but this was not a concern for me as his nurse Aggie was so reassuring and had the answer to every single question I had and gave me absolute confidence that the experience and support was not in question with Adrian and Aurora.
Some may say that the lack of contact and communication directly with Adrian is off putting but I had faith in that he understood what I wished for and my issues and his experience and attitude was one of no problem and such confidence that all the other details and questions can be dealt with by his team.
I decided on the Allegen Natrella and 3 different sizes to be chosen by Adrian at the time as I wanted to look completely natural but to keep in mind that fingers crossed these implant will be with me into my 40s. I left the decision down to Aggie and Adrian to have me looking in proportion for my frame.
I couldn’t have been happier and the relief I felt knowing that I no longer had the PIP implants and all had gone well. The pain was manageable but I was surprised with lack of strength and movement for the first 7 days as this was the second operation. Pre op Aggie did make it clear to me and my partner that just because the pain isn’t as intense as the first time, recovery and rest is not to be taken for granted and is an absolute must.
Around 10 days post op I noticed some swelling and warmth from my left breast. After contacting the Paddocks Adrian asked for me to see him that afternoon which I did and I left feeling reassured and content knowing Adrian himself had been able to see me.
Overall what was still a very stressful and personal situation for me I had complete confidence in Adrian’s skills which primarily is all that counts.
Adrian Richards decision of the breast implant size has left me with fuller more natural looking breast, removing the old scar and making smaller incisions.
