Radiesse was thought to be a best option in terms of quantity and cost, and due to the amount of filler (a full tube) and it's viscosity, it took over 8 days to alleviated redness and did cause some broken veins, adding to the initial problem of lines around nose and mouth. Veins were treated later with IPL therapy and look much better; though have since used juvederm XL as it being a thinner, smoother product causes minimal downtime.
It could have been my particular skin that reacted that way, though it did correct the lines, the side effects just contradicted it with the darkness of the redness and broken veins. Product did case a few lumps, though only noticeable to me.
Would use this filler again if needed in a different area I suppose (if I had a need in the lower face/jaw), though am thankful that I do not and prefer Juvederm much much more instead.
Hi Matheaux,
I can see why you marked this as "not sure" I too am unsure how to feel about it. But I'm glad the other procedures worked. Please keep us updated about what happens next.
Thank you and enjoy the rest of your week!
