“No Way!”

I purchased a package of 5 IPL's a couple years ago during fall/winter. The nurse recommended I get one IPL followed by micordermabrasion two weeks later and then another IPL two weeks after that (so one per month with micro in between). I am 26 and have sun spots as well as premature pigmentation from using birth control for many years.

I did all of the treatments as well as all the microderm's in between and I swear the spots are darker! They kept saying that the spots were going to come to the surface and "flake off" but that never happened. I guess the IPL's are supposedly good for collagen stimulation so I'm hoping something worked in that area but for sun spots - no way!

I had a cosmelan mask (intense skin-lightening mask) applied instead last year and had good results from that. But it was pricey at about $800
