“No Sensation but I Like the Implants!”
Spent: $3,000 in Anderson, IN
I have a very slim, trim figure and nothing to complain about there but I always wanted bigger breasts. I started saving up after college and went two months ago for the surgery.
The procedure was fine and I didn’t have much trouble following any of the post-op instructions. I think, given what I’ve read most women go through, I got out pretty easy as far as pain too. My breasts were swollen for a while (still are, I guess) but I even liked their size when they were like this. My husband likes the size too and my doctor says I will eventually go down to a very full D cup (I was a small B). This is exactly what I was hoping for size-wise and I’m glad my doctor was skilled enough to get me there. Filling the implants is a guessing game and I could have ended up with a cup size I didn’t want!
My only problem so far has been what I think I feared the most – I’ve lost all sensation in one of my nipples! The other one is fine but I can’t get the right nipple to react at all. My doctor says this is normal but I really hope the feeling comes back. I feel “wrong” without nipple sensation, as funny as that sounds! I think I would rather be too sensitive (that can happen too) then have none at all.
This is my only complaint so far. I am happy with my new breasts and if the feeling comes back in my nipple then I will be happy with the procedure.
