I just received the skin obsession 20% peel today along with the emu oil. I am so excited to try it! My skin has been prepped for at least three months by using prescription Ziana and I've had minimal peeling with glycolic and salicylic peels in the past. As a 40yr old woman that takes good care of her skin, I'm hoping this will lighten up three acne scars, light wrinkles and a couple tiny sunspots. I have watched multiple video blogs and many reviews to come up with my game plan.
So I plan on doing the peel in two days. I just did a patch test and this is how it went(I'll post pics soon)
1- prepared a bowl with tepid water and baking soda, stop watch & fan
2- washed my face with gentle cleanser
3- wiped patch area with rubbing alcohol until clean. I chose my left jaw area.
4- dip one end of a q-tip into tca and rubbed in a back and forth motion onto patch area. It started stinging pretty quickly. I noticed it was frosting about the 1 1/2 minute mark and neutralized at 2 1/2 minutes.
5- I applied the emu oil and so far it seems fine
