Hello ladies well today is my 5 day post op. Before my surgery I was so nervous, but heck I did it. I think I gave Dr Taneja a hard time cause I was acting like a little girl. The surgery assistant was a sweetheart and the anesthesiologist was pretty good to. I said ok so I did it. I remember waking up in so much pain, specially cause of the muscle repair. The nurse was a sweet heart Lil Asian girl. I remember heading back home. My boyfriend stop at a grocery store and picked me up apple sauce and unseated salting cracker had one cracker and a couple spoons and pain med and keflex. Basically the first 3 days I was sick and under the influence of Vicodin. Finally got of them cause they made me feel weird. As far my tummy it looks so pretty, feels tight and swollen and I'm hunched forward, but I pray this goes by fast. Cause what hurts more is my butt and back. I can't wait till I can't stand straight, I will post before and after pictures. As far as Dr Taneja awesome men.. He is a good Doctor. Has his staff that are so nice specially Elxy and Candy. I will post more soon. Because I know how nerve wrecking can this be. Scary but Dr taneja has so far meet my expectations. Omg I just can't wait till I stand up straight. It's only been 5 days maybe 6. Cause I did it Monday and today is Saturday.

YEAH !! You made to the other side. Take your pain meds and get some much needed rest! Can't wait to see more pics.
It will take a little while to stand straight. You are sewn very tight. After another week, try standing with your back against a wall and try to stand straight against it. You won't be able to do it at first, but take tiny steps and you will get there. It's very normal to be hunched and for your back to hurt, if you can, get someone to rub it for you and maybe try some ice or heat on it. But only on your back. No heat on your tummy. You look great and I can attest that the pain and achiness does go away and you will be able to do everything you could do before, except maybe traditional crunches! You will have swelling after while, though hopefully you will be like me and it won't be so bad. Rest as much as you can in the coming weeks and it will help you heal. Thinking of you! Happy Healing!

Hello Rosie, please share current pictures of your tummy. I'm so very curious as I have my consult with him next week. I'm especially curious on how the belly button looks. I want to see how the scar tissue on new belly button is healing I've seen some pretty bad ones. Also how are you feeling now? and how long it took to stand up straight and be able to do chores around the house? I'm a stay at home mom.

Hello ladies I'm knew to this. I'm so scared and having tummy tuck tomorrow. And to top it off my lil one lost my pre op instructions. I guess I'm not eathing after 10 pm. Omg im sick to my stomach. I hope everthing goes well. Im 28 years old 5 3 & 145 pounds. Lets see what happends. I always wanted one and thought it was no biggie well I'm scared. And I know is a really big deal.
