Because I hated my skinny thin lips and was referred to Dr. Elam by friends in California. I traveled from Tennessee just to see Dr. Elam

The procedure itself was painless and I expected pain. I was really afraid that my lips would look like television horror stories and Dr. Elam didn't dismiss that fear. He promised me he would make conservative injections of Juvederm and explained what he was doing while he was doing it. He explained how to deal with any swelling and when I went to see him the next day, he again explained what to do if any swelling or itching or burning occurred. None of that happened. It was really nice to know that a doctor would consider my fears. Dr. Elam performs a lot of complicated surgeries so I appreciated that my lip filler procedure seemed as important as a reconstruction job. Now, there are other things I'd like to do and I'll be visiting Dr. Elam when I'm ready.

I have no complaints at all! Dr. Elam washed away all my fears by listening and taking his time to explain the procedure and to hear what I wanted and why.
