I just cannot stop smiling with joy today!

Today was a wonderful day. As expected, I had a bit of pain that was easily controlled with the prescriptions. My body again required a nap this afternoon, but that was not a problem at all!

I spent the day relaxing and chatting with a few visitors. We even ventured out to Claim Jumpers for dinner where the male server noticed my new girls. He definately enjoyed the view multiple times. Normally the overt rudeness may have annoyed me, but seeing as I was only 2 days post op and still even in bandages it made me feel like a million bucks! (Of course, I did not let him know that. I just pretended not to notice the attention.) His response left me a bit curious as to how things were actually looking. I had not peeked yet. So a family member helped me get my first look when we got home. All I can say is Wow!!!! They look amazing!! Of course there's a bit of swelling, but there is no bruising or odd appearance. To me they look beautifully symmetrical! I was literally shocked at how well they look. They are already getting soft. They are only firm to the touch in their bottom half. I could not be happier for how early in to post op I am. Based on my experiences this far I am beyond happy with Dr Lawton's work! She has been wonderful and I cannot imagine having gone with anyone else!

The big day and pre-op pictures

Yesterday went very well! I just listened to my body and drank lots of water to clean my system from the anesthesia. Post-op the BA has left the girls feeling engorged w milk and no way to pump. Yes, it uncomfortable, but very tolerable.

After the BA yesterday we left for home and chose to stop by the grocery store. (I found holding a pillow under the girls offered them more support from bumps while driving) After arriving I surprised my family member and self by accompanying her inside. I simply kept my hand on the cart for balance and experienced no issues.

The rest of the ride home went just fine. After arriving we started oral meds and just hung out. Later in the afternoon I took a nap. After which my body was craving rice and refried beans. So we made a dinner reservation and ate out with no issue. Once we got home I simply relaxed and watched movies till bedtime. (I slept proped on the couch which was comfortable and easy to get up from using my legs and ab muscles.).

Last night went well as we stayed current on the medicines, though I developed one sore spot in my left breast which required a much larger implant for symmetry. I believe the muscles in the area are just working to stretch. All in all everything has gone well so far and I look forward to seeing what today holds.

Tips for the day:
1. Consider using a pillow in the car under the girls to minimize bouncing from bumpy roads. .

2. Listen to your body and keep up on the meds it asks for. Ie maybe half a pill will keep you pain free etc

Gettin Close!

Getting close to the big day! I did all the work in prep of the BA already. Now it's time to just sit back and enjoy the excitement. It's a good thing I'm ready too because it seems all the new catalogs coming in the mail have bikinis in them and I keep getting distracted looking for my favorites to try on soon.
