DAY 3 - Breast Implant Removal
I tried updating the Doctor info as the one I listed was the PS who did my BA not the one who explanted. Dr Mary Gingrass in Nashville did my explantation. Anyway, it's been 3 days since I got my saline implants removed. The nurse Ginger, took out my drains this morning and said I can wear my sports bra day/night. Make sure you get a tight fit one to help your skin retract. I'm not feeling much pain, but I've been taking my pain medicine, so am not sure how I'd feel without them. I put on a white long sleeved top today and was THRILLED at how I looked in it. I feel lighter, younger, and better about myself already. Right now I have no regrets at all for deciding to get my implants out. Sleeping on my back has been a little difficult as I'm used to sleeping on my side or stomach.

Today I had Consultation for Breast Implant Removal with Dr Mary Gingrass
This morning I had my consult to remove my breast implants. I decided not to fly to CA where I got them done as I'm now living in Nashville,TN. Dr Mary Gingrass and her staff were very warm & attentive. I explained to her why I wanted them out & she understood where I was coming from (another plus of having a lady plastic surgeon). Since I was 100% positive that I wanted to be smaller, we went ahead and deflated them after my consultation. It was painless & took 15 minutes tops. Watching the saline come out into the syringes was interesting. It was almost surreal watching them deflate. The nurse did a compression wrap on my breasts after taking pictures. Dr Gingrass went over the options I had & suggested I see how I like my breasts after all of the saline had been taken out.

Dr Cruise and his staff were very personable and attentive. His office taught me a few techniques to do right after BA to help create good cleavage as the final result. My friends who've had BA were never given such recommendations post-op & many have "valleys" in between their breasts. I think they could've had a better outcome had they used Dr Cruise!
