Had the surgery today. Writing this at 3:30 am
Everything went well and from what I can see I can't wait to see the results
Things I wasn't prepared for
How sick I got from swallowing blood. Puked it all up all day and into the evening
Couldn't eat or take my painkillers
Got a bit of a fever
I had two surgeries at same time though so what did I expect
This is NO walk in the park but I'm so glad I did it and chose a great surgeon I have confidence in

My nose has always bothered me especially in...
My nose has always bothered me especially in pictures, the tip not so much but my bridge width is out of balance with the narrowness of the rest of my nose
A few friends of mine had a rhinoplasty that went well and that's what made me think I should fix what I don't like. Like is short , why not treat myself to something that will give me more confidence and invest in my nose instead of clothes or make up that go out of fashion
I spent hours and hours researching online who to see. I chose dr rival because he is a head and neck specialist with great reviews and a natural approach I was looking for. I want natural and even though you want to see a big difference I think with the nose it's best to keep somewhat the shape god gave you. Just more refined ; )
Dr rival quoted me 8000 plus hst for both procedures which was reasonable for me considering his rhinoplasty starts at 6000 and I'd rather get it both done at same time and over with
My first meeting went well. We were on same page my only worry being that he doesn't have much to say or advise and the digital imaging literally didn't show change at all bc I'm not doing anything to my tip and I don't have any humps or bumps..
That's where the. Am I doing the right thing kicks in. Is this a waste of money etc?
I keep reading about how most people don't even notice ... And if a change that insignificant warrants thousands of dollars....
But my surgery is bought and paid for. 2 weeks away.
