Investigating my options
For those who may be following my review, here's an update!... I have an appointment next week to ask a surgeon about excision. Will let you know how it goes and what I decide.

Sick of this :(
Have been feeling really down lately about just how long this is taking. Seriously considered just throwing some money at the situation and getting it excised. Quoted $1000 when I emailed a surgeon, thinking about going in for a proper consultation. What do you guys think? Already spent a few hundred. Its half way gone, but now have a scar anyway, so it's never going to look like new. Don't think I can take another year of this :(
