So have exercised for most of my life and the only...

So have exercised for most of my life and the only time I ever saw real weight lose was when I was under stress (which is not healthy). Well within the last 8 months I managed to gain 40lbs because of my hectic schedule. I am a registered nurse and am going to school full time for my second degree, so most of my meals consist of "grab and go". At 215lbs (the heaviest I've ever been) I decided to have smartlipo done. And not to mention the constant "are you pregnant" or "oh my you have gained weight" was not exactly an ego booster. I had friends who traveled to other countries and had amazing work done for an amazing price. However I do not have the time that is needed to have procedures done elsewhere nor do I have the downtime they require. So I began doing my research into SL and came across Dr. J.S. His facility was wonderful not to mention they discounted a couple of thousands off my price for the few referrals I provided. I had my consultation and procedure all within 6 weeks.

I had my procedure done Saturday June 18th. My appointment was at 12 pm. I was in and out. I was escorted to the room where I was given paper underwear, booties and hairnet. Filled by two valium's and an antibiotic. Dr came in and showed me what would be done. I was laying in the surgery room by 12:19. DR J.S began right away. I guess since I was nervous the valiums had no affect on me. The numbing part was painful, I will not try and sugar coat it. There were times around my rib cage that were uncomfortable and painful and we had to stop to inject more numbing fluid. On the other hand there were parts that were extremely ticklish. Overall the procedure was over by 2:10 and a total of 2L were removed (one never realizes how big they are until they see those two huge bottles of fat sitting there lol). I stood up and the draining was ridiculous. I was set in recovery for half hour where I drained a lot more simply because he had to use to much numbing solution. Long story short I was on my way home by 3:20 and was able to walk the 4 blocks to the car. I stopped by the store and picked up tons of Gatorade. I made it home by 4: 20 where my mother was waiting for me. I laid down as soon as I go home and not even two minutes later I leaked all over the curtain my mother laid out on the bed for me. I got up and came out of my garmet and my mother who is a nurse changed my dressings. I began to feel extremely nauseous and lightheaded. I didn't realize how serious it was until I fainted and fell on the floor. Of course my mother panics and I came to a few seconds later. I had absolutely forgot to eat and had ingested all those pills so I ate a piece of bread and drank Gatorade. I changed into my second garmet and laid now where I was in and out of sleep.

Day 2: Was pretty easy I slept and changed my dressings which by Han draining had stopped. Not much of an appetite. I was able to shower which I did quickly seeing as how I got light headed being out of my garmet. I felt soarness and mostly uncomfortable. Mainly when standing or sitting. The pain level for the few seconds after I stood up was at a 4-5 out of 10.

Day 3: I was able to return to work however I felt tightness when sitting and getting up again. When in motion there was no uncomfortable moments.

Day 5: I don't see any major improvements however everyone else does. I had very minimal bruising but extreme swelling. Thanks to the arnica tablets the bruising was almost non exsistant.

Sorry for any typo's but I wrote this during my lunch break will try and update soon when time becomes available. I guess now only time will tell.
