Should I Use Numb Gel for Picosure Treatments?! - New York

So here I am regretting my very first tattoo which was done/re-touched for 3 times. I got it when I was 15(which was super stupid and naive), I was quite rebellious and wanted to get a tattoo on my left wrist(you should really really think it thru if you wanna get a tattoo on a visible body area). It was a small one on the top of my left wrist. After a few years it started to fade so I decided to give it a re-touch and extended it to the inner side of my wrist too. I felt like the design wasn't feminine after the re-touch so I did another re-touch after 3-4 years later. This time I asked the artist to use some henna-inspired design. I was pretty happy with the result but my tattoo is visually 5 inches bigger than the original. At times i've always got unexpected attention to my tattoo and people do judge me differently but these didn't really bother me much. I wanted to remove it because it has smudged for quite a bit. I think it's because of the area, since we always move our wrists and I do wash my hands very often so my tattoo smudges after a few years after all 3 times I had it done! I just can't keep re-touching it and making it bigger and bigger so I did some research and decided to give Picosure a try! I'm a pretty fair skin Asian in my late 20's(I'm lighter than average). I do get a bit red under the sun so i've always used sunblock for my skin. I eat a healthy diet and do exercise at least 3 times a week. My tattoo is pure black ink and is 15/9/4 years old(3 times).
Ytd was my first section with Tataway(NYC). FYI, it was EXTREMELY PAINFUL!!!!! Considered I've done the tattoo 3 times on my wrist so I'm quite tolerant to pain but removing it was 20x more painful than getting it! I screamed and sweated all the way but it was done in less than 5 mins(I needed many breaks lol). I did use Hush Numb Gel for 45 mins before the treatment but I don't if it really help cause I felt like it made the area very sensitive(couldn't even stand the ice-pack). I did all my tattoos w/o numb gel so can someone please tell me if it really helps with reduce the pain from tattoo removal(I have another small red sakura tat behind my left ear)?
Some parts of the tattoo already lost its color right after the first treatment. Covered it for about 5 hours cause I was outside, did try to let it breathe but felt like hundreds of sharp needles pinning me w/o the gauze. Washed it in cool water after I went home and the pain has reduced alot since then. My whole hand is still swollen today and I see about 3 tiny blisters for now. Will keep you guys updated!
