I had bags under my eyes that made me look tired and older than the rest of my face did. My friend recommended her doctor because he'd done a great job with her facelift. Dr. S, who is double board certified, was down-to-earth and did not rush anything. He and the rest of his staff really put you at ease, so I didn't feel anxious about having him work on my eyes. The incision was made just inside the lash line, so you can't tell anything was done. My lids were tender for a few days after, but I had no pain. There was some bruising that took about 6 days to disappear. I covered them with makeup and no one at work even noticed. Now my eyelids look great, and I look rested.

Dr. S is relaxed and personable, and takes as much time with you as you need. The office staff is caring as well as efficient. Because Dr. S doesn't rush people, you may end up waiting 30 minutes (normal for NYC). Bottom line: I had a great experience and would definitely recommend him.
