2 MONTHS BOOTY BIRTHDAY!
Well ladies it has been officially 2 months - 8 weeks. I am very happy with my new body. Of course a few things could be tweaked here and there but I doubt I will do a round 2... then again you never know! I only received 800ccs and I know a lot of slim ladies were afraid of that but my results got better and better as time went on especially at the 6 week mark. I didn't have as much fat to work with but he worked miracles with it! I must admit i was disappointed at first but that is when I compared myself to other Schulman dolls that came out really big. I realized that the key to being happy is by accepting myself and analyzing how I feel about my results... not by what other people look like or think and the truth is... I look great! It feels good to be able to say that! :)
It feels so damn good to sit down but I still feel a bit uncomfortable after 30 mins... I will go slowly.
I am very happy, my clothes fit great, hubby LOVES it, I LOVE it! I will try to keep updating periodically. It is very true when the vets say that you go on with your life after surgery. I haven't been on too much but I will try to do better. Thanks for the support.
STATS BEFORE SURGERY 38-35-40 147lbs
STATS AFTER SURGERY 38-31-42 1/2 147-150lbs (2 months)
4 liters of fat removed - 800ccs put back in each check - not sure how much in hips

BBL - 3 Week Review
Hello ladies! Please forgive me for not updating sooner. It has been 3 weeks since I got my BBL so I felt I should update you guys...
My body pain has been a lot better but I have had severe headaches. The headaches take more out of me than the body pain which is very annoying. I stopped taking the Percocet on Day 3 so it is not from that. I honestly think that all the compression, change in diet, not enough food, possible medication, sleeping on my stomach is causing it. I honestly would take days 1 & 2 pain over these headaches. I called Alison on day 3. She said to take what I normally took but it wasn't working and I never had migraines like this before.
Now as far as my body pain, it has been getting better everyday. I feel the tightness from the garment more than pain especially in my booty area.
Day 4 was shower day which was so hard. I had that Medisol adhesive remover but let me tell you... that crap wasn't working for me! I felt like I should've been using cement glue remover! After standing in the shower for 1 1/2 hours I felt faint so my hubby took me out and I slept for an hour. I got back in and he finished taking the foam off. The water felt so good running down my body. Later that day I could tell that all of the glue wasn't off my skin. Day 5 I took another shower and my hubby started taking the glue off my back. After an hour, I was over it so I got out. I didn't end up removing all of the glue until day 9!
Day 4 I had my first BM. I took a laxative but I ended up going 10 mins later so I really didn't necessarily need it. Now I absolutely could not go on the toilet. Holding myself up was impossible because I was so busy holding myself up, I couldn't let anything out. Then I tried sitting on a 1/2 foam roller but [RS bleep] I was fearing for my damn life on that thing! I was losing circulation in my legs. I felt like if that damn thing slid to the left or right an inch... my ass was in the toilet! That wasn't working. I was too damn terrified to go. I don't know about you but I need to be relaxed. So I took some garbage bags and chux pads and put it in the tub. I knelt down, relaxed and there you have it! Of course I had to do that 2 more times because the laxative kicked in later that day!
Day 3 Pain - Better than day 2 but severe migraines and neck pain
Day 4 Pain - Better than day 3 but severe migraines neck pain
Day 5 Pain - Better than day 4 but severe migraines neck pain
Day 6 Pain - Better than day 5 with migraines
New lifesavers -
Chux pads for BM
Day 9 - I started taking Excedrin Migraine at midnight. I waited until I felt the Tylenol was out of my system because you can't take them together. Within 2 hours my headache was gone. I actually felt like myself again! Once I felt like myself again I started feeling tightness and stinging in my back. I quickly took my garment off and realized how raw my back was from the glue. My head hurt so badly that I was unable to focus on any other pain. My head hurt too much to turn in the mirror to see my back before I took the Excedrin. I was freaked out at first but I calmed down, I took some alcohol and cotton balls and finally wiped away the rest of the glue. I took some A & D Ointment and vitamin E oil, mixed it together and rubbed it on my back. I expressed my concern before my surgery about this happening because my skin is very sensitive but my back is much better now. It is not perfect but it is getting there.
Day 10 - I went for my post op with Amanda. It went well. I have no fluid collection or signs of infection. She cut any stitches that needed it. She definitely noticed that my back did not like that adhesive and foam. I bought my stage 2 garment. I got the thong version for $75. I felt weird not seeing Dr. Schulman though. I guess after a major surgery like this, I kind of expect to see my doctor after 10 days but that is nothing against Amanda at all. I guess the more popular he gets the less time he has. She said he will be at my next appt. which is good. I started massaging my body daily. This is only my opinion but I feel that starting to massage yourself is important. At times I'd notice hardness or shapes forming on the cuff of my left cheek and I started massaging the area and now it is nice and smooth. Everyone has their own preferences but I know for me light massages to my butt and hips feels so great! My back and sides still hurts a lot being massaged but I try to handle it as much as possible. My diet is back to normal with less sodium. I started to BM in the toilet. Hubby was scared to have sex this soon so I masturbated :) Hey! Don't judge me! A sista got needs LOL!
Day 12 - Stopped taking Excedrin - No more migraines!
Day 14 - I started feeling more like myself. I haven't noticed any size change since this point. I started wearing my waist cincher a few hours a day for more compression. I started using Arnica gel on remaining bruises which has helped a lot!
Day 21 - MY HONEST OPINION OF MY RESULTS SO FAR (3 weeks):
I wrote my first review but I haven't updated since then. The first reason is because I had major migraines and I couldn't think straight. The second reason is because I was disappointed. I honestly felt like my butt was too small. At my post op I found out that Dr. Schulman removed 1.5 liters from my stomach and 2.5 liters from my back. He put 800 cc's in each cheek. Once I found that out, I knew why I felt so small. I asked Amanda why he put so little in my butt. She said that was everything I had to put back in. In a lot of reviews I see 6 liters and more of fat being removed but I only had 4 liters removed. I guess I just didn't have enough fat to make a huge 1600cc butt!
Once the days started going by and my body started shaping out... I must say that Dr. Schulman did a great job with my shape. My stomach is flatter without the loose skin he said I might have so far! I love my hips and overall hour glass shape. My booty is not as big as I want but it is nice and so much better than before. I notice the slightest bit more fullness on my right side but nothing detectable. My back is not as smooth as I'd like but I guess I will hit the gym to tighten it up. My hubby really LOVES my new body! He feels that everything is perfect for my petite frame. He hates that women feel that our butts have to be huge to be sexy but that is how we are LOL! I am still swollen and feel pain in my back and on my sides when touched. I feel little sharp body pains in my sides occasionally. I also have some lower abdominal swelling. I still have a few bruises. I also notice my pubic hair area is darker but it is getting better. Sometimes I have intense itching in my back but not all the time. It is very annoying not being able to sit but I have 5 weeks to go so I might as well get over that. My booty is getting softer and it jiggles more. The firmest part is the very bottom and near the crack. It definitely moves as I walk and looks a lot more natural.
So I haven't answered the question... Do I like it?
Well... That is so hard to say in one word when it comes to my body! If I have to answer so far in 3 weeks... do I like it... Yes. I like my overall shape, I like my hips, I like my stomach, I like my butt and I like how my body looks naked BUT I wish my back was smoother and I wish my butt was bigger and more noticeable in clothing! I will say that Dr. Schulman isn't a miracle worker and he could only work with what I gave him to work with. He knew I wanted a big butt and I am sure he gave me the biggest butt he was able to give me using the fat I had to work with. He did a great job shaping my body and to me the surgery has been worth it so far. I hope my results continue to get better! I will keep you posted.
