Since everyone seems to be doing this and this is where I found my doctor, heres my surgery review/experience :) I hated my old eyes bc they made me look mean/angry and putting makeup on was so annoying!! Only regret I have is wishing I had done this sooner since I've been wanting this for almost 10 years!

The procedure was 1.5 hours? It didn't seem long since Dr. Choe and I talked throughout the entire procedure and they played music to keep you distracted. At first he gives you a shot on the arm and then shots around your eyes (anesthesia) but both were painless- some reviewers said the shots were painful so it affects everyone differently. The numbing went into effect right away because I didn't know he began the incision. The only "pain" I felt was my back aching from laying in one position for so long.

Post Op- The first 3 days are obviously the worst with the most swelling and bruising. I called the office a bunch of times and they were more than happy to help me with any questions I had. I was getting nervous because my crease was forming way above my incision line which made me instantly regret having this procedure done. But, 1 week post op, my remaining stitches were taken out and luckily the nurse said I was opening my eyes wrong and had to "train" them to make them open at the incision line. It has now been 3 weeks from the surgery and all bruising has gone away, and it is opening as it should be but it is still a little numb and swollen but that's fine because you won't see your full results from as little as 3 months to a whole year.

Cons: When my procedure was finished, neither Dr. Choe nor the nurses commented about how the procedure went well which made me nervous and think they messed it up
- I didn't get to see the pen markings he made so I went into surgery not knowing how high my crease would be. We discussed it beforehand but it would've been reassuring knowing where exactly he was going to cut

Overall, Dr Choe is a great doctor and I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting this surgery done!! :)
