How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Will never, ever, ever refer anywhere here.Had a consult and was told all that needed to be done to get my nose narrowed. In writing my documentation stated the cost of procedure, outpatient hospital fee, anesthesia, surcharges, etc. Photos separate. Of course I will not put the exact amount at the moment. Many people go to this particular facility in New York for plastic surgery because you get discounted prices, really cheap. You have to pay total cost out of pocket upfront, like most plastic surgeons require cost upfront. Most plastic surgeons give you something in writing to let you know what you need to pay upfront, no hidden fees. Insurance usually don't cover plastic surgery unless health issues. I paid using my card, got receipts etc. Had my surgery, came home. Month later got a call from billing dept. claiming I owe for the plastic surgery the same amount I already paid but added an additional $300 to it!!!! What the H!!! I said no I paid in full, they wanted my insurance information to cover the bill. I explained everything to them and told them to call plastic surgery dept. re: issue. They stated no you had nose surgery you must have paid something else. I said no I paid for the entire surgery including hospital fees!!! The document stated total hospital ambulatory hospital fees and procedure and anesthesia. Long story short he was so persistent I gave insurance info. Told him not to process claim. I called plastic surgery dept. as soon as I hung up.They claimed they would handle it. Never heard back from them. I called them a few days later they said they talk to the bill dept. and said I paid everything upfront and billing was not processing claim. Found out 8 days later from insurance the hospital submitted a claim asking for over$39,000.00!!! No misprint!!!! What!!! Why did the even ask for such amount!!!The claim should have never been submitted. And my surgery was no where close to this outrageous amount. But the surgery was under $5,000. I had a nose job only!!! It was outpatient!!!! The insurance ended up sending the hospital what I already paid them plus the extra $300 they added on. I told the insurance company I paid them upfront before they sent the check out. Now you know when the insurance company pays out something like hospital you are required to pay a deductible!!! Plastic surgery dept. now say it's out of their hands!!! Billing dept. have issues with responding to calls. Been over a month now. They got paid twice I'm still working on it. Before even considering this hospital read the billing dept. reviews for Lennox Hill. Sure wish I had it's a pure shame. Read it!!! This hospital is connected with or also called North Shore Jewish hospital. My surgeon was at the North Shore Lennox Hill Manhattan Ear Nose and Throat Hospital. I can't understand why we had to go to the Lennox Hill Hospital a few blocks up the road for surgery??? Leave one hospital to go to another??? Regardless how the H!!! is it out of your hands now. According to the reviews I'm not the first!!! I will not review the surgeon because at the moment it don't matter what my nose look like. You better think twice. There are some teaching hospitals that allow residents to plastic surgery for inexpensive prices. The surgeon who did my surgery is no longer there, different ones come and go. This is the Manhattan Ear Nose and Throat hospital but they send you to Lennox Hill on 77th Street for the surgery. My surgeon communicated they are able to do discounted prices I can't remember his reason why, but so many people come to this facility to get them done. I know people and they all say you better keep your receipts.
